This piece is inspired by the paintings of the Zand and Qajar eras. A sheer undergarment, decorated with pearls and embroidery, hints at intimate and freer moments of the past. Few records remain of what was worn in the courts of kings, and I wanted to bring back some of these forgotten styles and glimpses of openness.
